Construction Methods
We specialize in North American style cabinetry (face frame construction and overlay doors). We use only the finest hardwoods and maple or birch veneered 3/4” plywoods (no particle board).
We use the highest quality hardware— Blum European concealed hinges for doors and Knape & Vogt precision ball-bearing drawer slides.
We utilize the tried-and-true case construction method of dado and glue—no metal fasteners.
Face frames are constructed of solid hardwood joined with concealed pocket screws on the backside of the face frame.
All drawers are constructed of either 1/2” hardwood or Baltic Birch 9-layer veneer plywood using English dovetail joinery.
